Photographic transfer on repurposed wood board with acrylics, gels, and stain.  Intricate wood grain shows beautifully though the image, enhancing the texture of the stonework and adding depth to the sky.  Finished piece is approximately 11x17" large.  

Photograph was taken near Dayton, TX -- one of the many abandoned rice silos in the area of east Texas between Houston and Beaumont.  They dot the landscape like castles in their stature and stone.  

Each mixed media piece is one of a kind and signed by the artist.
