Photographic transfer on repurposed wood board with acrylics, gels, and stain.  Tree image is hand-painted for enhanced detail and texture, creating a hybrid between photograph and painting.  Finished piece is approximately 6x10" large.  

Photograph was taken of a mesquite tree on a rocky bed below a dam on the Blanco River near Blanco, TX in the Texas hill country.  

Each mixed media piece is one of a kind and signed by the artist.
