Assemblage on antique ship lap with antique window jamb and hardware/fixtures. This piece includes an original photograph, taken in Galveston, transferred onto the ship lap substrate as well as two found photographs. All materials were sourced locally to Houston/Galveston.

The assemblage speaks to the nature of family and home, built from pieces of domestic history. The elements show wear from the hands of our ancestors and connect us to their world.
